Dearest Beloved Oprah,
What has prompted this e-mail is the Chick-Filet controversy and your support for gays and gay marriage. I wonder as a Christian why you praise the sin and advocate for the sinner. The bible says LOVE the SINNER, not the sin. We should all be going around repenting and changing our hearts and ways, not advocating for our sins. As hetero-sexuals our sins are as great with pre-marital sex (fornications), sex outside of marriage and judging one another instead of loving one another. Some people do it for the homo-sexual too. They judge them instead of love them and pray for God with love to lead them to repentance. The bible says both are a sin. Because I was abused sexually as a child, I know our society has become increasingly sexualized and sexually permissive. Both gays and heteros should be advocating for waiting for marriage before intamacy. It breaks my heart and I am crying right now as I write this because we don't go to gays and ask them to pray for us to stop fornicating outside of marriage, and we pray for them to repent from homosexuality (fornicating outside of marriage). If marriage means we are waiting until we know we are in loving committed relationships.....then let that be marriage, not a piece of paper from the government. We are commanded to love and pray one for another in the bible.
Oprah, we cannot define God and make him in our image of love. We must defere to God's better judgment and allow him to define us so we can experience his love and peace that passes understanding. His agape' is greater than any love we as humans can imagine. Oprah, please pray for the homosexual to repent. Jesus gave us the example of love being sacrifice. He sacrificed his life for love. We must also follow Christ in his example and not candy coat sin. Overcoming sin is difficult and impossible without faith and prayer. We do the homosexual a disservice when we accept their sin of homo-sexuality, and not say "I love you, but I do not love your sin as God does not love your sin", "Will you please ask Christ Jesus into your heart, and pray about it, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in repentance? ( repentance: a change of heart and actions). I weekly ask Jesus to come into my heart while watching Joel Osteen. " I believe in grace, but I do not believe in using grace as a way to sin willfully and forgive oneself . We must still follow Christ Jesus and his teachings. "It is better to marry than to burn with desire. (lust)" The bible says in the New Testament, it is not holy for a man to lay with another man and treat him as a wife, and likewise for women with women. (Romans 1:26-32) We must be teaching God's word to any sinner. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) Fornicators, idolators of money, lust mongers, homosexuals, habitual liars, thieves and cursers of God and man, that these are wrong and the answer to the problem is Christ Jesus, prayer and try, try, try, your best to please God your maker, and surrender to his love and allow him to move in your life. He loves his children, and the bible also says "I wish that I not lose one". He wants us all in heaven. Amen.

These scriptures lead me to repentance and getting married. For gays...prayer leading to repentance and marriage proves the scipture..."With God all things are possible."
